Asking for proof of vaccination instead of or in addition to onsite screening.
Regulators have made it clear that given the unique circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, employers may implement pre-screening measures to ensure that people with the virus don’t get into work and spread it to others. That includes requiring employees to provide proof of having been vaccinated. But limits still apply. Here’s a Model Policy you can adapt based on your particular circumstances as well as changes to COVID public health guidelines, for example, with regard to recognized symptoms under Section 3.1.
