A volunteer firefighter claimed that the Human Rights Commission dismissed her sex harassment complaint without doing a fair investigation. The court agreed and ordered the Commission to revisit the decision citing its failure to interview key witnesses and even consider pieces of key evidence, namely remarks by the firefighter’s boss that could be taken as a reprisal and attempt to intimidate her for bringing the case [Seymour v.
