Company officials are investigating the cause of a leak at an oil refinery, saying they don’t believe the ‘oily product’ had been leaking into the water long before it was discovered. The spill was discovered by an operations team at the dock, which found a broken section of pipeline and immediately deployed a containment boom. Cleanup efforts were underway, although high winds hampered the efforts.
