57% of Workplaces Have In-House Flu Shot Clinics, Says Poll
Yes, it’s flu season again. Getting the flu vaccine is one of the best ways to avoid becoming sick. And employers can make it very convenient for workers to get vaccinated by holding in-house flu shot clinics. So how many workplaces have such clinics?
We recently asked if you provide an in-house flu vaccine clinic for employees and were pleased to see that 57% said yes.
The other 43% should consider holding a flu shot clinics in their workplaces. In-house flu clinics are not only convenient for workers but also cost-effective. For example, according to the Public Health Agency of Canada, workplace immunization programs provide employers with a return on investment of over $60 for each worker vaccinated.
