The machines we are building need to be handed off from the mechanical builders to the electricians. We know we have 2 choices – either wait 72 hours to ensure Covid is gone or to sanitize it. Right now, we can wait 72 hours, but in the future, I doubt that’s going to be possible. We need to have a product that we can spray into all the small, intricate areas on the machine that we don’t have the ability to wipe off afterward. This product has to dry on its own and not leave a residue. Lysol Aerosol is the perfect product, but I am almost out of it and cannot find more anywhere.
I have been searching for all of the aerosols listed on the approved list put out by the government without any luck. Do you know if there is any documentation from the government about using 3% hydrogen peroxide or 70% alcohol to do this’ These products could be misted on and at least dry and not leave a residue. I also know bleach can be used if diluted, but the water used to dilute it could harm the machine. I am lost at what to do here…any ideas?
