Grinding Galvanized Metal

Hello,

I am trying to determine what respiratory protection is needed for someone that grinds galvanized metal. I can’t do this unless I know what they would be breathing in. I wanted to assume it would be the same as welding, but I just don’t know. Light fact finding seems to point towards metal fume metal, which is iron oxide. Do you know what fumes/gases/etc. are generated from that process?
