- If an employee is telecommuting ( working from home) are they considered a lone worker if there are other adult members ( non- employees) in the home available to provide assistance? WorksafeBC Part 4 advises if assistance is readily available from a willing and capable person in the vicinity for cases of emergency, injury or ill health the worker will not be considered a lone worker. Looking for confirmation that a family member in the same house meets that requirement. Thanks
