A worker’s hand got caught in a pinch point while he was attempting to remove a piece of metal, resulting in his arm being drawn into the conveyor belt system. He sustained serious injuries to the right collar bone and forearm. His employer pleaded guilty to failing to adequately guard the moving parts of a conveyor belt system and was fined $20,000 [Integra Castings, Govt. News Release, July 30, 2014].
