Nov 23: Newly tabled Bill C-307 would amend the Canada Labour Code to
require federally regulated employers to provide free and sanitary tampons and menstrual pads in both men’s and women’s bathrooms. The legislation encourages but doesn’t require employers to get workers’ input in deciding which brands to buy

 

ONTARIO

Mar 14: Proposed changes to OHS Construction Project Regulations would require that there be at least one women’s-only washroom on project sites. In addition, portable washrooms would have to be private, completely enclosed, adequately lit and equipped with hand sanitizer where running water isn’t reasonably possible. The new rules would take effect on July 1, 2023.
