Ontario 2016-17 Safety Inspection Blitz Schedule & Compliance Resources

The Ministry of Labour (MOL) in Ontario just released its 2016-17 inspection blitzes and initiatives schedules for the OHS Program and Employment Standards Program. Specifically, the schedule details the topics that will be the focus of the MOL’s “Provincial Blitzes,” which are province-wide, sector-specific enforcement initiatives.

Here’s the OHS provincial inspection blitz schedule plus links to some OHS Insider resources, including tools, to help make sure your workplace can pass inspection as to the targeted hazards.

Note that if your workplace isn’t in Ontario, your jurisdiction’s OHS enforcement agency may target similar hazards when conducting workplace inspections. So these resources can assist you in improving your OHS program as to these hazards, too.
