Top Court Upholds Permanent Ban on Asbestos Firm for Defying OHS Orders

For 8 years, the WCB waged litigation war to compel an asbestos abatement firm to comply with OHS asbestos rules, culminating in a 2019 ruling permanently banning the firm and its owner from operating in the province. Now, in what appears to be the final chapter, the BC Court of Appeal has upheld all of the bans.
