Supervisor & Worker Fined for Fall Protection Violations

An Occupational Health Officer saw three workers working on a roof of a building in violation of OHS law. As a result, a supervisor pleaded guilty to violating the OHS Regulations by failing to ensure workers under his direction complied with the OHS laws. He was fined $400. A worker also pleaded guilty to failing to use a fall protection system at a work area where he could have fallen three metres or more.
