Supervisor & Construction Company Fined $69,000 for Fall from Crane

A worker refueling a mobile crane climbed onto the crane and opened the lid of its fuel tank. The lid fell on his hand, causing him to fall from the crane and suffer injuries. The construction company and a supervisor were convicted of failing to ensure that the fuel tank lid was secured during fuelling.
