Inspection Results in $1,150 Fine for Excavation Company


After a worksite inspection revealed non-compliance with the OHS laws, an excavation company pleaded guilty to failing to ensure that equipment and spoil piles were kept at least one metre from the edge of an excavation or trench and that workers wear approved industrial protective headwear.
