A workplace incident may trigger reporting requirements under OHS and environmental laws. In addition, the federal Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act (TDGA) and Consolidated Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations (TDGA Regulations) and the provincial/territorial equivalents require two kinds of reports for certain incidents involving the transportation of designated “dangerous goods.”
