The BC Coroners Service announced it will hold a public inquest into the deaths of three workers at a mushroom farm in Sept. 2008. The Chief Coroner said that, after reviewing all the information available in the case, she concluded there’s a benefit to holding an inquest to examine some of the broader circumstances of the incident to prevent future deaths from happening in similar circumstances. The inquest is scheduled to start on May 7, 2012.
