March 7: Lowest Injury Rate in 20 Years

In 2010, Saskatchewan achieved its lowest total workplace injury rate in more than 20 years. The total injury rate decreased from 9.32% in 2009 to 8.7% in 2010.  In addition, the province’s time loss injury rate was 3.12%, a decrease of 9.1% from 2009—the eighth straight year of decreases.
