Worker Injured When Ring Got Caught in Machine


At a company’s printing facility, a worker was adjusting parts of a running lamination machine when his hand got entangled in a pinch point between two rolls and was injured. According to the MOL, the worker was wearing a ring at the time of the incident. The company pleaded guilty to failing to ensure that the worker wasn’t wearing a ring near a source of entanglement.
