Roofing Company Fined $1,880 for PPE and Supervision Violations

Based on an OHS Officer’s observations of a building worksite, a roofing company pleaded guilty to violating the OHS regulations by failing to ensure that workers used a fall protection system at a work area where a worker may fall three metres or more, to provide and/or require workers to use appropriate protective headwear as required and to ensure that all work at a place of employment was sufficiently and competently supervised.
