Restaurant Ordered to Close for Not Verifying Customers’ Vaccination

Disobedience with COVID-19 public health orders is not an option. Just ask the restaurant that Fraser Health Authorities ordered to close for failing to comply with orders requiring restaurants to check customers for proof of COVID-19 vaccination. The restaurant defied the closure order. So, now a B.C. court has issued an injunction barring the restaurant from operating or taking any actions to impede enforcement of the vaccination verification order [Fraser Health Authority v Rolly’s Restaurant Ltd., 2021 BCSC 2096 (CanLII), October 21, 2021].
