Title: How to Make Online Training Stick
Speaker: Natae Bugg, MS, CSP, Senior Manager, Safety Training and Solutions at SafetyNow

Whether you’ve just started using online training as part of your safety program or you’ve been using it for years.

Whether your completion rates for online courses are still picking up steam or are almost at 100%.

Even if your training program checks off all the boxes for compliance on required topics, there’s a lingering thought in the back of your mind:

‘Do my workers really understand and retain the training material enough to apply it and truly be safe on the job”

In other words, is the training bringing about the desired behaviour or behaviour change that will reduce errors, unsafe acts, and ultimately incidents and injuries’

One way to ensure the answer is ‘YES’ is to understand what makes online training memorable and what factors lead to the greatest understanding and retention of online training materials.

In this webinar, the final in our four-part series on online training, Natae covers:

    • Training challenges that diminish understanding and retention of online learning.
    • Tips for overcoming these challenges, including making thoughtful assignments and the use of gamification to increase understanding and engagement.
    • The Smart Seven – A guide for choosing the best online content.
