Nov. 3: Worker Killed in Tanker Trailer Explosion

A 35-year-old worker was checking to see if a tanker trailer was clean when there was an explosion. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was hurt. The cause of the blast hasn’t yet been determined. Blackfalds RCMP said the tanker was destroyed and damage was also done to nearby buildings.
