The WSCC filed charges under the Nunavut Safety Act against the Superintendent of Public Works with the City of Iqaluit, including failing to ensure supervisors had completed an approved regulatory familiarization program. These charges are in addition to those previously filed against the City of Iqaluit, a supervisor and a worker in relation to an incident in which a worker was injured while working at the Iqaluit landfill when a garbage truck drove over him [Joseph Brown, Govt.
