The police won’t change the mayor of Toronto after he acknowledged talking on his cell phone while driving. No charges have been pursued against other motorists who admitted after the fact to driving while talking on the phone and equal treatment will be given to the mayor, said a police spokesperson. The penalty if caught talking on a cell phone while behind the wheel of a vehicle in Ontario is a $155 fine.
