March 18: The government announced its investment of $3.5 million in a project to provide more timely medical diagnosis for residents in rural communities. New digital equipment will replace existing film x-ray machines. This technology will enable digital x-rays to be electronically sent for diagnosis, allowing for faster diagnosis.
