Nov. 18: The province is proposing new legislation that would change Ontario’s Graduated Licensing System to improve safety:
- It would take new and young drivers up to 36 months to get a driver’s licence
- A zero blood alcohol concentration level for all drivers 21 years old and younger would be set
- Restrictions on the number of young passengers teen drivers can carry would be tightened.
