The National Energy Board released the findings from its investigation into 16 allegations of regulatory non-compliance made through its whistleblower process against TransCanada Pipe Lines Ltd. The NEB’s investigation concluded that:
- Six of the 16 third-party allegations were partially substantiated and that TransCanada has taken all appropriate corrective and preventative actions as to them.
- Ten allegations couldn’t be verified.
- Public safety and environmental protection weren’t at risk.
