According to a new survey by the Association of Canadian Studies and Canadian Race Relations Foundation, Canadians are split on whether racism’s a growing problem in the country. Highlights:
- 46% feel racism is on the rise
- 65% said whites and visible minorities are treated equally in their workplaces
- Those in the middle ranges of the working population were most likely to say that all races are treated equally at work, with 70% or more in every group between 25 and 54 feeling this way.
