The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its final investigation report on the Canadian Pacific Railway incident in Buckskin, ON in which 20 cars, including a dangerous goods tank car, derailed. Some of the derailed cars side-swiped a northbound freight train, derailing the lead locomotive and damaging the second locomotive and the first nine cars. There were no injuries and no spills. The TSB report concludes that the incident occurred when a roller bearing overheated and failed.
