The government published an amendment to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations in the Canada Gazette Part II on Dec. 5. The amendment includes the following:
- Change in the definition of “person” and addition of a definition for “organization” that’s aligned with the TDGA
- Clarification of packaging requirements for outer packaging of aerosols in small quantities
- More precise indication of filling limits for standardized and non-standardized means of containment
- Option of affixing dangerous goods safety marks required by IMDG Code for the transport to or from a ship, harbour or sea terminal.
