Traffic Safety (Driver distraction)

Feb. 13: Alberta Transportation reminded drivers of the consequences of distracted driving. Numerous studies indicate that 20-30% of all collisions likely involve driver distraction. Things not to do while driving:
- Change settings on the radio, an MP3 player or the thermostat
- Talk on a cell phone or send text messages
- Write things down
- Comb hair, shave or apply makeup
- Read or eat.
