A fire broke out in a small truck in an underground lot at a PotashCorp mine in southeastern Saskatchewan. Emergency crews quickly put out the fire, which generated a lot of smoke and forced 87 workers to take shelter in refuge stations located throughout the mine. No one was injured; the workers came to the surface in stages. It’s unclear what caused the fire.
