The prime contractor on the construction of a new airport terminal hired a subcontractor to install passenger bridges. When the Manitoba labour ministry learned that the subcontractor was using unlicensed foreign electricians to perform electrical work, it issued a stop work order requiring the prime contractor to ensure that subs were using licensed electricians for electrical work. It has since lifted the order.
