Employers have a duty to minimize ergonomic hazards in the workplace so workers don’t suffer injuries caused by poor design, repetitive motion and excessive force or vibration. When a worker suffers such an injury, you need to investigate to determine what caused or contributed to the injury and how the worker’s work process, equipment, tools, work station, etc. can be changed to avoid similar injuries in the future.
