Earlier in the year, we conducted a survey on the kinds and formats of content on the OHS Insider and in the monthly newsletter. We got a great response. And to assure you that your time wasn’t wasted taking that survey, here are some of the changes we made based on the results.
For example, you told us that one of the most useful pieces of content is the Know the Laws charts, which accompany feature articles and compare the OHS laws in each jurisdiction on particular requirements or topics. So we’ve set up a page on the site dedicated to those charts so you can find them quickly and easily.
And because you told us that the Spot the Safety Violations and Test Your OHS I.Q. pieces (aka “Quick Quizzes”) were also favorites, we now have pages dedicated to these kinds of content as well. In addition, we’re committed to providing a new Spot the Safety Violation every week and a new quiz every two weeks. Plus, as you said you like to use both these types of content to train workers, they’re downloadable as PDFs.
Other changes based on the first survey results are in the works.
We’re now conducting a new survey. This one focuses on the website and mobile devices. It’s a short survey that asks about topic such as the searchability of the site, favorite/least favorites parts of it, whether you ever download items from the site, etc.
In return for spending a few minutes sharing your feedback with us, you’ll be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a Kindle Fire!
And again, we value your feedback and will use it to improve the website and make it fulfill your workplace safety needs. So please take our survey today.
