Company & Director Fined $8,000 for Not Registering Paint Spray Booth

A company that performs automotive refinishing was using a paint spray booth, which needed to be registered with the Environmental Activity and Sector Registry. MOE officers conducted inspections of the site and determined that the paint spray booth wasn’t registered. Subsequently, the company pleaded guilty to one violation of the Environmental Protection Act and was fined $6,000.
