Back to Work: The Future of the Workplace Post COVID-19

Date: May 27, 2020

Time: 9 a.m. PDT / 12 p.m. EDT

Presenter: Anthony Panacci, Associate, Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP

About the Webinar

While provinces continue to operate under a state of emergency, employers are proactively planning for the resumption of business operations and the return of workers to the physical workplace. Even businesses not impacted by emergency orders need to plan for the ‘new normal’ in a post-pandemic era. We invite you to join us for a webinar that will help employers identify, and effectively manage, issues related to the reopening of the economy amidst the ongoing threat of COVID-19. Our speaker, Anthony Panacci, will address:

  • Best practices for recalling employees to work, in both unionized and non-unionized workplaces
  • Responding to constructive dismissal claims
  • Ongoing health and safety obligations to mitigate the impact of COVID-19
  • Preparing for a potential increase in workplace harassment and discrimination allegations
