Auto Body Shop & Owner Face Environmental Charges

The owner of an auto body shop allegedly flooded a neighbouring property and caused significant damage to the land. The owner and the shop have been charged with one violation of the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act for releasing or permitting the release into the environment of a substance in an amount, concentration or level or at a rate of release that causes or may cause a significant adverse effect and six violations of the Water Act [Auto Body Services Red Deer Ltd. and Harry Veenstra, Govt.
