Safety Incident
July 7: The crash of an air force jet two years ago was caused by a faulty seatbelt and the pilot’s failure to ensure that he was strapped in properly. The plane was upside down when the pilot fell out of his seat and lost control of the plane. The air force was aware of the seatbelt problem since it was first raised in 2002.
