Dec. 9: Changes to the Agreement on Internal Trade that apply to about 80 regulatory authorities and 300 occupations, including skilled trades, will make it easier for engineers, mechanics, plumbers and other professions and trades to work in Ontario. Under these changes, jurisdictions can maintain additional requirements for occupations where necessary to protect health and safety or for consumer protection.
