Labour Mobility Dec. 10: The government introduced legislation that will make it easier for workers certified for an occupation by a regulatory body in one jurisdiction to be certified for that occupation in NL without requiring further education, training, examinations, experience or assessment. The proposed law does include a process to exempt occupations should a jurisdiction require a different standard for reasons related to worker health and safety, among others.
