Traffic Safety (Highway Traffic Act Amendments)

Dec. 9: Motorists would be required to slow down and pass tow trucks and roadside assistance vehicles only when it’s safe to do so under proposed changes to the Highway Traffic Act. The amendments would expand existing provisions of the law that require motorists to approach stopped emergency vehicles with caution when their beacons are flashing.
