Aug. 2: Transport Canada Grounds Planes Due to Safety Concerns

Transport Canada revoked a Québec charter airline’s operating permit after an audit revealed violations of aviation regulations. The audit, which was done after a plane crash in June that killed seven people, found problems in the company’s management, training and in-air operations.
