People with disabilities will be better able to get jobs as a result of new funding for the Yukon Council on disABILITY. The three-year funding will be used to:
Host an international conference to increase community awareness
Develop community and service provider skills, networks and protocols
Support the work of the Disabilities Employment Strategy Task Force, which will guide the development of a made-for-Yukon Disability Employment Strategy.
