Hantavirus June 19: The government warned Albertans to take precautions against hantavirus, a potentially fatal infection acquired from contact with mouse droppings or urine. If you’ve been in an area contaminated by rodents, especially deer mice, and develop difficulty breathing, see a doctor immediately.
