Construction Company Fined $480 for Fall Protection Violation

During a routine inspection, Occupational Health Officers saw construction workers working more than three metres from the ground without proper fall protection equipment. The construction company pleaded guilty to a fall protection violation. The court fined it $480 [Calvert Construction Ltd., Govt. News Release, Feb. 19, 2010].
